A TEAM OF PASSIONATE EXPERTS

Vision Clinic resulted from the association of passionate ophthalmologist surgeons specialized in eye surgery and more specifically in refractive surgery, corneal surgery and surgery of the anterior segment of the eye.

Some surgeons are in charge of consultations in refractive surgery, corneal surgery and / or anterior segment surgery in university hospitals in Belgium (University Hospital Saint-Pierre,  Brugmann, Erasme, University Clinics Saint-Luc, University Hospital Antwerp, ...) or in non-university hospitals (CHIREC Delta, Baron Lambert, CHU Marie Curie Hospital, CHU Ambroise Pare, EpiCura, ...).

OUR OPHTHALMOLOGISTS

	Docteur Thierry Vandorselaer Dr. Vandorselaer specialized in cataract surgery, in corneal surgery and in refractive surgery since 1999. After a training at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL - Saint-Luc), at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and at the University hospital of Antwerp (UZA), he still consults for refractive, corneal and cataract surgery at UZA (University Hospital Antwerp), at the CHU Saint-Pierre and CHU Brugmann. He also works at the Delta Hospital (CHIREC). He is Medical Director of Vision Clinic which project he initiated.
	Docteur Gauthier Schepens After a training at the Catholic University of Louvain (Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc),  Dr. Gauthier Schepens specialized in cataract surgery and refractive surgery since 1999. He recentered his activities in the region of Mons (Ophthalmology Center of the Grands Prés) and performs refractive surgeries at the Vision Clinic of which he is also a founding member.
	Docteur Dany Salik After a training at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Dr. Salik followed additional training in cataract surgery, refractive surgery and corneal surgery in Paris (Rotschild Foundation).  Since 2014, he is in charge of consultations for refractive, cataract and corneal surgery at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.  He also consults at CHIREC (Delta, Cavell and City Clinic facilities) and at Vision Clinic.
	Docteur Frédéric Sutto Dr. Frédéric  Sutto specialized in cataract surgery and refractive surgery as from 2003. He splits his activities between his private practice avenue Louise, a consultation practice in Wavre and performs his laser surgeries at the Vision Clinic of which he is also a founding member.
	Docteur Pieter Boghossian Dr. Boghossian specialized in surgery of the anterior eye segment since 2008. His activities are splitted between his private practice in Uccle (avenue Molière), the Baron Lambert Clinic, the Saint-Jean Clinic and  Vision Clinic where he performs his refractive surgeries.
	Docteur Jean-Jacques Mesplede French-born, Dr. Mesplede was trained at the Bordeaux University Hospital. He splits his activities between his private practice avenue de Tervuren, the Louise Medical Center, a consultancy practice in Luxembourg and Vision Clinic.

 

A special thought for Professor Jean-Marie Lemagne, Dr. Guy Meur and Dr. Paul Stadion who actively participated in the development of Vision Clinic before interrupting their professional activities in whole or in part.
